MAINTENANCE
Authority

Department: Maintenance Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Responsibility
- Perform assigned duties
- Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of facility and facility machinery.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
- Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Communicate with operators on equipment problems.
Essential Functions/Resource Provision
- Visually inspect machinery and equipment.
- Clean and lubricate machine parts, such as bearings, gears, and shafts.
- Dismantle defective equipment and machinery and install new or repaired parts.
- Maintain and repair building structure.
- Operate welding equipment and cutting torch.
- Fabricate and repair covers and guards for machinery and equipment.
- Install and repair electrical equipment such as plc boards, transformers, control boxes and electrical components.
- Install and repair hydraulic apparatus such as directional control valves, flow control valves, oil coolers and making and assembling hydraulic hoses.
- Install and repair pneumatic equipment such as air tools, air compressors, air dryer and solenoid valves.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- 5+ years in industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of Operating Standards (ISO, QS).
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Maintain strict confidence, and operate with integrity and honesty.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to fabricate without drawings.
- Understand and use Kenwal’s lockout/tag out procedures.
- Ability to use electrical tools properly and safely.
