Point Real Estate Management in De Pere, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and HVAC.

They will perform overall maintenance of the physical properties under supervision, respond to service requests within 24 hours, and assist in custodial and grounds duties as needed.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of full-time apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA refrigerant transition and recovery certification.
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Rotating on-call schedule availability.
• Ability to perform work at multiple locations in the area.

Responsabilidades

• Customer Service and responsive maintenance for residents.
• Complete service requests within 24 hours.
• General maintenance including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting.
• Replace components, fixtures, glass, tiles, and doors as needed.
• Assist in custodial and grounds work.
• Maintain pool chemical levels and overall site upkeep.
• On-call duties and standby coverage as required.
• Make Readies and refurbish apartments before occupancy.

Description

Point Real Estate Management is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to add to our team! This position is located in De Pere, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and HVAC.

The Maintenance Technician will perform overall maintenance of the physical properties, under the direction of the Regional and Property Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Customer Service
• Service requests made by residents should be completed within 24 hours
• Assist in the distribution of flyers and other material
• General Maintenance, including but not limited to:
• Replace filters and clean air conditioning vents as needed
• Replace breezeway light bulbs as needed
• Perform HVAC repairs as needed
• Perform light electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, etc.
• Perform light plumbing work, such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc.
• Replace broken glass, tile, carpet, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, blinds, locks.
• Paint, interior and exterior, when necessary.
• Perform carpentry work, such as fitting doors, freeing windows, replacing and building shelves, sanding and refinishing floors.
• Assist in custodial work, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning windows, etc. in common areas.
• Assist in grounds work when necessary, including picking up litter and “trashing out” vacancies.
• Maintain pool chemical levels and cleanliness.
• Repair concrete, masonry, roof, fencing, when required.
• Be responsible for refurbishing of apartments prior to resident occupancy (Make Readies).
• Have knowledge regarding water and gas meter cutoffs, all apartment and fixture cutoffs, and sewer cleanouts, and post map of same.
• Make keys, change locks and assist in maintaining key control and other work as directed
• On Call
• Handle “on call” duties whenever needed.
• Participate in standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Work Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
• EPA (refrigerant transition and recovery certification).
• Own basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Available to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to perform work responsibilities at other locations in the area, as needed.

Educational Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Technical certification preferred
