Maintenance Technician (Open)

The TI BLVD Gas Plant maintenance technician will maintain mechanical equipment—including compressors, turbines, pumps, and cooling towers—at the plant facility, ensuring reliability and compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily upkeep of mechanical equipment such as compressors, turbines, pumps, and cooling towers.
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and testing to maintain plant performance.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs and record-keeping via CMMS.
- Champion a culture of safety, aiming for zero personal first-aid incidents and full compliance with Air Liquide safety policies, safe work permits, LOTOs, and confined-space safety.
- Manage site waste and hazardous material programs with SELT and DOT training.
- Collaborate across disciplines to support other maintenance crafts and foster a unified team approach.
- Lead mechanical projects from scoping to final implementation, including bidding, scheduling, and contractor quality oversight.
- Maintain a mechanical spare parts program to ensure operational readiness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial plant maintenance, with familiarity in pipefitting and millwright terminology.
- Knowledge of rotating machinery including compressors, pumps, and turbines.
- Understanding of safe work practices, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Ability to comply with quality systems and report deficiencies.
- Operational competence with forklift and JLG equipment.
- Flexibility to work callouts, nights, weekends, and possible holidays.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, operate in non-conditioned environments, and enter confined spaces.
- Willingness to travel within the US at least 2 weeks per year.
- Proficiency in wearing appropriate PPE.
