Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication and electrical operations.

  • Represents Clayton with outside contractors and vendors for maintenance of the facility.
  • Monitors production equipment through routine inspections.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance program and documentation for production equipment.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for all aspects of equipment readiness and maintenance for all plantoperations. This includes ensuring repair, upkeep, and maintenance of all facility equipment. Position schedule is Thursday - Saturday.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Conducts analysis of mechanical and operational problems on facility equipment, plan and implement correctiveaction
  • Represents the company in dealing with outside contractors, vendors, and consultants as it relates to themaintenance of the facility
  • Monitors production and process equipment for proper operation through routineinspections
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and implementing preventative maintenance program of production includinginspection of plant equipment and inventory for replenishing parts
  • Maintain documentation, machine history, and all other appropriate documentation for production equipment,including the records of tool and equipment use throughout the facility, as well as inspecting or if necessary,requesting replacement for any tools / equipment
  • Maintain organization of Maintenance Repair Area and any other area where repair work is in progress
  • Fabrication, welding, design, and other duties that ensure successful company operation
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • A minimum of 3-years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance related field.
  • Working knowledge / hands-on general maintenance experience in welding, hydraulics, pneumatic, fabrication,and electrical operations.
  • Electrical experience, both single-phase and three-phase power supplies.
  • Must be able to walk, climb, lift loads of at least 50 lb. and perform such other physical duties as may benecessary to inspect all areas of the facility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including exposure to Microsoft Word and Excel.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.
  • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person.
  • Must be able to exchange accurateinformation with others.
  • Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time
