Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Colorado is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will keep the residence safe and attractive for residents. You will maintain equipment, systems, structures and grounds, performing repairs and documenting work orders while coordinating with the Maintenance Director to prioritize tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related trade, preferably with electrical, HVAC and repairs/maintenance.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety
• Completing and documenting work orders for building, grounds and equipment
• Following troubleshooting and reporting needed parts to the Maintenance Director
• Assisting with inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing vendor work
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

JOB HIGHLIGHTS--

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by ensuring the place they call home is a safe and attractive living environment. This position functions to maintain and repair the equipment, operating systems, structure and grounds of the residence.

Responsibilities--

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety
• Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment
• Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs
• Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Required: Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance
• Required: Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements, as required
