Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities operating at peak performance. This hands-on role covers mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, with opportunities to work on HVAC, doors, and building automation systems.

You will diagnose issues, complete work orders in the CMMS, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with the engineering team.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in general building repairs and maintenance within commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience with preventative maintenance procedures and protocols.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including MS Office, Slack, email, and ability to navigate digital systems.
• Valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED equivalent, and proficiency using various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to maintain building functionality and minimize downtime.
• Perform general building maintenance including carpentry, drywall, light electrical, light plumbing, and painting for both interior and exterior areas.
• Execute commercial door repairs including electrified locks, panic hardware, mortise systems, and automatic/manual sliding doors.
• Assist with HVAC systems maintenance and repairs while conducting regular inspections of premises and equipment.
• Complete assigned work orders in CMMS with appropriate service documentation and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule to respond to facility emergencies, system failures, and urgent maintenance issues outside normal business hours.
• Support the engineering team in building systems maintenance while participating in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs.

Rotating on-call weekend support may be required based on operational needs.**Salary:** $34.61 - $37.95This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.**Estimated compensation for this position:**72,000.00 – 78,940.00 USD per year*This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
