Job summary

CAF Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our residential communities. This full-time, onsite role focuses on diagnosing and repairing basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues, and supporting preventative maintenance tasks to keep our properties safe and well‑maintained.

You’ll respond to resident requests, assist with apartment turns, maintain tools and workspaces, and communicate with residents and the Property Manager about repairs and follow‑ups.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience in apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Strong customer service skills and a problem‑solving mindset.
• Availability to work Saturdays (closed Sundays) and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests from residents.

What You’ll Do

  • Grasp/grip/turn and use finger dexterity (e.g., hand tools, fasteners, locks)
• Lifting/Carrying:
  • Over 50 lbs: Occasional need (10% to 25%)
  • 10–25 lbs: Frequent need (25% to 75%)
  • Under 10 lbs: Frequent need (75% to 100%)
