Oldcastle Infrastructure in Concord, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance, following diagrams, reading manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions.

The role requires 5+ years of maintenance experience (preferred), knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, and ability to read basic blueprints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years maintenance experience preferred.
• Forklift training/certification provided by company.
• Welding skills preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to review basic machine blueprints.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic machine shop equipment.
• Lifting up to 40 lbs; ability to endure bending, standing for extended periods.

• Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building and grounds.
• Constructs fixtures as required.
• Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment as scheduled.
• Repairs facility equipment, fixtures, building, and grounds.
• Removes and/or installs fixtures and equipment for safe operation.
• Troubleshoots systems to determine causes of failures and recommends repair solutions.
• Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance tools and fixtures.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This maintenance technician will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following diagrams, reading operations manuals and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains the safe working condition of facility equipment, building and grounds

• Maintains cleanliness, functionality, and efficiency of maintenance equipment, tools, and fixtures

Job Requirements

• Forklift training and certification will be provided by company as necessary
• Maintenance experience of at least 5 years is preferred
• Welding skills preferred
• Strong working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to review and understand basic machine blueprints is a plus
• Ability to use hand tools and basic machine shop equipment
• Lifting may be required with assistance provided if needed
• Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling, stooping and reaching
• Standing for extended period of time
• Able to work under extreme conditions such as hot or cold temperatures, noise, dust and dirt
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
