Job Overview
The Maintenance Technician’s primary goal is to provide exceptional service to our residents. Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, the technician will perform skilled, efficient, and professional maintenance tasks. This role offers the opportunity to advance to Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent repairs in plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, appliances, and other equipment as necessary.
- Complete apartment turnover maintenance within three to five business days, following a standardized checklist.
- Perform turnover tasks such as installing blinds, changing filters, replacing bulbs, replacing drip pans, replacing door stoppers, caulking, and other miscellaneous repairs.
- Carry out common‑area maintenance including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, pressure washing, and window cleaning.
- Monitor building exterior for roof, siding, and shutter issues.
- Support an effective preventive maintenance program for your area of responsibility.
- Assume primary responsibility for the safe condition of all equipment or structures within your area of expertise.
- Document newly purchased tools or equipment in the inventory system.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and observe all safety rules.
- Work on‑call hours as required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance coverage.
- EPA certification Type 2 or Universal.

- Respect for confidentiality and privacy.
- Proven maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
