Job Description Summary:The Plant Maintenance Technician's role is to maintain and repair of production related equipment in the Air Separation Unit such ascompressors, pumps, motors, valves, gauges and vessels.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working around High voltage Electricalequipment, compressors, pumps, motors, valves

  • Working around cryogenic process equipment such as pumps, repair valves, replacehoses.

  • Perform basic disassembly and rebuild of mechanical equipment,changing outpumps, mechanical seals, collectvibration readings, collect oil sample, Greasingrotating equipment.

  • Perform basic low voltage electrical system maintenance, process control loop andreadout calibrations.

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks and documents in the CMMS system.

  • Remove and install motors and pumps.

  • Learning ASU Process

  • Covering shiftif a situation arises .

  • Willbe sharingOn-Callresponsibilities .

  • Assisting nearby plants during theirshutdown or PM activities

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • 2 – 5 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience preferred.

  • Understanding of control valve functions and systems used to control flows & pressures on industrial tanks

  • Instrument Calibration, Pressure Transmitter, Level Transmitter etc.

  • Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment

  • Comfortable working in a non-air conditioned environment

  • Experienced with Multi Meters (Fluke Multi Meters)

  • Able to climb and work on heights (165 ft)

  • Computer Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidate with a Strong Mechanical background in a plant environment

  • Experience with Electrical / Instrumentation equipment in a plant environment
