Job summary

Manco Abbott, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our residential properties in California.

You will prepare apartments for new residents, perform repairs for current residents, and keep common areas well-maintained to ensure a safe, comfortable living environment. Responsibilities include fixing plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling, locks, and carpentry, while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid California Driver's License.
• Must have and maintain auto insurance.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
• Must be able to be reached by phone.
• Must be willing to support sister properties within a geographic area.
• Must be willing to work any shift as required.
• Must be willing to work any day as required.
• Must be willing to comply with my job description.
• Must be able to communicate with all employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents and perform upkeep.

• Participate in after-hours rotation for emergency maintenance.

Provide excellent customer service to our residents:

• Ensure resident satisfaction by the timely completion of work order requests and apartment turns with new residents
• Participate in after hours rotation for property – ensuring timely response of emergency maintenance requests.
• Participate in resident events
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed at the property
• Ensure maintenance team is following policy as it relates to safety (wearing protective gear, following heat stress guidelines, etc).
