Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot malfunctions by following manuals and specifications.
• Observe equipment in operation to locate problems and assess fixes.
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and adjustments.
• Dismantle devices to replace defective parts and fabricate repairs.
• Maintain inventory of parts and request supplies as needed.
• Document actions, irregularities, and maintenance trends.

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
• following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
• troubleshooting malfunctions
• Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
• listening for problems
• using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Removing defective parts by dismantling devices
• using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools
• examining form and texture of parts
• Determining changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts
• using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
• Adjustsing functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges
• Controling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance
• Fabricating repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
• Maintaining equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt
• Conserving maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks
• Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Fuel your passion

• To be successful in this role you will have: Have High School Diploma or GED.2+ years’ experience. Have some electrical experience on 3 PH 480 and single PH 120v Shift is a 4/3 schedule 6pm-6am. Need to be available to train on days if needed.
