Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of machinery and equipment through preventive maintenance per manuals and specs.
• Identify and diagnose faults using measuring instruments and listening for issues.
• Disassemble and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes and tools.
• Maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies; place orders as needed.
• Document maintenance actions and report trends for continuous improvement.

Baker Hughes has an opening for a Mechanic/Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair equipment for Artificial Lift. Services at our facility in Claremore, OK.

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Removing defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
• Determining changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Adjustsing functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Controling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Fabricating repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintaining equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Conserving maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.
• Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Have High School Diploma or GED.2+ years' experience.
• Have some electrical experience on 3 PH 480 and single PH 120v
• Shift is a 4/3 schedule 6pm-6am. Need to be available to train on days if needed.
