Job summary

M K Management Co in Cinnaminson, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine upkeep and respond to resident requests. The role requires a valid driver’s license, 2+ years in maintenance, and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC basics. You will handle preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and on-call coverage, with an 8:00 a.m.

– 4:30 p.m. schedule. Experience with appliance repair, locksmithing, and basic Microsoft Office is helpful.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain property exterior and common areas, including janitorial and grounds.
• Replace smoke alarms and locks; perform electrical repairs and appliance service.
• Carpentry repairs including window replacement, drywall and minor roofing work.
• Perform preventive maintenance and follow safety guidelines; participate in on-call coverage.

Maintenance Technician

Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly

General Responsibilities

• Complete resident maintenance requests on a timely basis (standard is 24 hour turn around)
• Complete all assigned maintenance work on vacant apartments within the standard three day turn around period.
• Comply with all OSHA regulations and any applicable laws in your areas regarding health, safety and environment.
• Assist in maintaining the overall physical condition of the property including janitorial, custodial and grounds.
• Turn in all completed service tickets and paperwork to Maintenance Director by the end of each work day.

Primary Responsibilities

8. 10. Assist in grounds and custodial operations as required

Educational Responsibilities

• High school education or equivalent
• Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation and be able to travel
• Must have proof of vehicle insurance
• Minimum of two years in maintenance related field
• Working knowledge of appliance repair, electricity, plumbing, carpentry and drywall
• Knowledge of HVAC repair and maintenance
• Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs. on a regular basis
• Be able to be on foot, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs and ladders
• Be able to push, pull, grasp, reach above shoulder height and turn
• Be able to work at above ground levels
• Must have adequate vision and mobility

Work hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. After hours and weekend on call emergency response is required.
