The Maintenance Technician will be part of the Operations Department, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. Responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and cleaning assigned apartment buildings, which may include multiple locations and building types. The role is crucial in ensuring high standards of property maintenance aligned with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform daily administrative tasks, including online training, reviewing updates, scheduling vendors, and participating in team meetings. Communication with property managers and support center is mandatory.
2. Ensure timely and correct completion of service requests and repairs using the company's mobile app.
3. Assist with turnkey operations such as scheduling, painting, cleaning, and punch-out work within five days of move-out.
4. Maintain an effective preventative maintenance program.
5. Prepare for inspections by owners, federal, state, and local authorities.
6. Inspect grounds, buildings, and common areas for safety and cleanliness.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; technical certifications are a plus
• At least one year of property maintenance experience or similar
• Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between properties
• EPA certification must be obtained within six months of employment (Pennrose provides training)

Working Conditions

• Flexible hours and travel required, including plane and automobile travel
• Work at properties in transitional neighborhoods
• Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift as needed
