Job summary

AISIN Texas is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to service and repair production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at AISIN Texas in Cibolo, TX. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and implement solutions to improve quality and efficiency.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, ability to work rotating shifts (days and nights), and willingness to learn in a cross-cultural, automotive manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule (days and nights) with potential mandatory daily and some Saturday overtime.
  • Safety-first mindset and strong work ethic.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment per blueprints and guidelines.
  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters and hydraulic/pneumatic drive systems.
  • Reduce downtime by root-cause analysis and countermeasures.
  • Safely execute workplace rules and standards; monitor safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Other maintenance duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining the condition of the manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to repairing and/or the replacement of failed components and performing preventative maintenance measures when applicable. This role is responsible for developing short and/or longer term repairs that are geared towards improving quality as well as efficiency.

Position Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment in accordance with blueprints, procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems using prior knowledge and on-the-job training.
  • Diagnose equipment and machinery malfunctions and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime
  • Utilize prior knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on-the-job training to perform daily activities in a safe and effective way.
  • Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
  • Reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing countermeasures aimed at root cause analysis.
  • Safely execute workplace rules and standards.
  • Monitor the safety, quality, and productivity of the production machinery, and equipment.
  • Other Maintenance duties as assigned.

Education/Training/Certifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • College or technical school coursework completed is preferred.
