Job summary

Nyhus Enterprises LLC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment, building systems and facilities. The role fits someone mechanically inclined, who enjoys troubleshooting and handling diverse maintenance projects.

Shift options include 6:00am–4:30pm or 10:00am–8:30pm, with overtime on Fridays and a $25–$30 hourly wage. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, troubleshooting, repairs planning, drywall and general repairs, preventive maintenance, safety compliance,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance, facilities, or repair experience preferred.
• General knowledge of carpentry and building repairs.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in tight or awkward spaces.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and machinery to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Troubleshoot problems and determine the appropriate repairs.
• Use equipment manuals and building blueprints when planning repairs.
• Perform general building repairs, including drywall, painting, doors, and other fixtures.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Assist with maintaining clean, safe, and organized facilities.
• Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Help develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety programs.
• Follow OSHA requirements and company safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About this position

Description:

Nyhus Enterprises is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to help maintain our equipment, building systems, and facilities. This position is a good fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys troubleshooting, and is comfortable handling a variety of maintenance and repair projects.

Monday through Thursday from 6:00am – 4:30 pm or 10:00am - 8:30pm
