Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves inspecting equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing general repairs to support our 50+ locations across the Chicagoland area.

The candidate will assist with facility upkeep and coordinate with the Operations Team to order supplies. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with on-the-job training offered.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be able to follow supervisor instructions and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are essential for coordinating multiple repairs.
• Carpentry experience is a plus for basic repairs and remodels.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify equipment or areas needing repair.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine repair needs and plan work.
• Perform general repairs such as drywall, painting, doors, and fixtures.
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems.
• Assist with upkeep of facilities and office equipment.
• Collaborate with Operations to order supplies for repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Duties/Responsibilities

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
• Familiar with assembling and disassembling office equipment and furniture.
• Assist with upkeep of the facilities.
• Collaborate with the Operations Team to order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Carpentry experience is a plus.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related experience preferred.
• On-the-job training offered.
• Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
