Job summary

AdTech Ceramics Co. is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee plant maintenance and the safe repair of electronic equipment in line with all codes and regulations.

You will maintain and repair electrical and electronic controls and implement necessary building modifications to ensure smooth operation. The role requires a two-year degree in electronics or related field, with industrial experience preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus a two-year electronics/technical degree.
• Industrial experience strongly preferred.
• Two-year work history in two of: electrical, welding, machining, mechanics, HVAC, or building maintenance.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and pneumatic drawings.
• Vision corrected to 20/20; contacts not allowed in plant.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Broad knowledge of machinery/tools with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Capable of working unsupervised and being a self-starter.

Job description

• Responsible for plant maintenance and the safe and efficient repair of electronic equipment in accordance with all existing codes and regulations.


• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of systems controls, both electrical and electronic, and for any necessary building modifications.


• Provides multi‑dimensional expertise in the maintenance, trouble shooting, calibration, adjustment and repair of a wide variety of complex, interrelated process machinery and equipment.


• Responsible for HVAC work and related preventative maintenance of calibrations, pumps, motors and controls.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED, plus a two-year degree in electronics or a related technical field.


• Industrial experience strongly preferred.


• Possess a 2 year work history in a minimum of two of the following crafts: 1) electrical, 2) welding, 3) machining, 4) mechanics 5) air conditioning & refrigeration, and 6) general building maintenance.


• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints and pneumatic drawings.


• Vision corrected to 20/20 (contacts not allowed in plant).


• Possess a valid Driver’s License.


• Possess broad working knowledge of machinery/special tools to perform job functions with strong mechanical aptitude.


• Possess a positive attitude and good interpersonal communication skills.


• Capable of working unsupervised and being a self-starter.
