Maverick-Colorado-LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to service casino assets with a focus on safety and guest comfort. The role requires hands-on skills in maintenance, prompt responsiveness, and accurate daily logs. The position demands physical work including lifting up to 75 pounds and working in varied conditions.

Flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; E-Verify participation is noted. Colorado licensing and valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a fast-paced establishment.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintains and repairs engineering assets.
• Monitor equipment for safety and comfort of guests and staff.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proactively takes responsibility and performs engineering maintenance and repair. Uses technical skills to efficiently service, repair, replace and protect the physical assets of the casinos.
• Monitor all engineering equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of casino customers and employees.
• Respond promptly to requests for engineering assistance.
• Maintain clean equipment and equipment rooms.
• Ensure that daily work logs are accurate and current.
• Keep all equipment operating properly.
• Snow removal in all areas at all properties.
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with guests and coworkers.
• Wear and maintain all uniforms properly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Use any necessary safety equipment.
• Follow security policies and procedures. Perform duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
• Perform other duties as directed.
• Flexible schedule that includes evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• A Colorado Limited Gaming Support License is preferred.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ experience preferable working in a fast-paced establishment.
• Colorado Driver’s License and good driving record are required.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions and communicate with employees and customers in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience at application and usage of hand and power tools, stationary power tools and potentially hazardous. chemicals cleaners, snow and ice removal equipment including pickup trucks, skid steer, forklift and man lift.
• Knowledgeable in hazardous material standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant brisk walking, setting up and climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and standing for an entire work shift, with standard breaks. Working in confined areas, with floors, which are or may become slippery. Lifting up to 75 pounds to move supplies and equipment. Working indoor and outdoor, which is subject to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions and frequently high noise levels. May work at heights up to 30 feet.

Salary: $23 - $29 / hr.
