EMCOR Facilities Services in Cary, NC seeks a Maintenance Technician to deliver preventive maintenance and repairs across facilities, using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC, and other trades as needed. You will perform PM and corrective work, document activities in CMMS, obtain materials, and support safety and compliance while delivering timely service to our clients.

We provide comprehensive facility services ranging from mechanical maintenance and self-performed, site-based operations to energy-efficiency upgrades and supplier-managed interior/exterior maintenance.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely delivery of the Company’s line of services within assigned facilities. Performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds. Conducts face-to-face relationship with Customers in the service of the client’s requirements. Utilizes multiple trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC, and other skills as needed to solve maintenance problems.
Completes preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements. Self performs the following duties in compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
Conducts facilities inspections to identify maintenance issue and submits tickets in CMMS. Keeps facilities clean in appearance, removing trash, minor landscaping and other duties as assigned.
Documenting work and time management with all appropriate entries to include photographs in CMMS management system.
Obtains necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
Obtains and completes EFS required safety and compliance training and attends weekly safety meetings.
Education
(HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent two-year college or technical trade school; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Business Experience
(prior years work/related experience)
Two to five years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Licenses/Certifications
Valid driver’s license
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The associate is routinely required to work at heights while using lifts and ladders to.
