M Crowd Restaurant Group is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help support our restaurants across the Dallas‑Fort Worth area. In this hands‑on role, you’ll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs across multiple restaurant locations.

From carpentry, tile, and drywall work to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration maintenance, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily restaurant operations and delivering a great experience for both guests

Qualifications

• 2+ years of handyman or maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of tile, drywall, and painting experience.
• HVAC/refrigeration certification or hands-on experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read plans, diagrams, manuals, and blueprints.
• Comfortable with hand and power tools.
• Reliable, professional, and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and HVAC/refrigeration repairs.
• Repair drywall, tile, painting, and trim.

Full-Time|$25.00 – $30.00 per hour + Benefits| Reports to: Director of Facilities

About the Role

M Crowd Restaurant Group is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to help support our restaurants across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In this hands‑on role, you’ll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs across multiple restaurant locations. From carpentry, tile, and drywall work to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration maintenance, you’ll play a key role in supporting daily restaurant operations and delivering a great experience for both guests and employees.

What You’ll Do

• Perform general maintenance, minor plumbing, low‑voltage electrical, and HVAC/refrigeration repairs
• Repair drywall, touch up paint, caulk, replace trim (corner guards, chair rail) and ceiling tiles
• Repair and install floor tile
• Fix hardware: loose screws, hinges, doorknobs, table bases
• Install and replace restroom fixtures (paper towel, soap, and toilet paper dispensers)
• Replace dining chairs, tabletops, and table bases; install levelers and glides
• Return damaged furniture and equipment to the warehouse
• Respond to scheduled and urgent work orders across multiple DFW restaurants
• Track expenses, log repair purchases, and recommend maintenance improvements

What You Bring

Required

• 2+ years of handyman, maintenance, or repair experience
• 2+ years of tile repair, drywall repair, and painting experience
• HVAC/refrigeration certification and/or hands‑on service experience
• Valid Texas driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read plans, diagrams, manuals, and blueprints
• Comfortable with basic hand and power tools
• Reliable, professional, and calm under pressure

Nice to Have

• Experience with a work order software system
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Restaurant or commercial facilities experience
• Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm; occasional extended hours or weekends for project deadlines
• On -Call Coverage Required
• Company vehicle provided for travel between restaurant locations across DFW
• Physically active work: standing, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Indoor and outdoor work, including tight, elevated, hot, or cold spaces
• $25–$30 per hour, based on experience
