Hiring for a part-time Maintenance Technicianwho is open to both 1st and 2nd shift.

Our opening is a Full-time/Part-timeposition. Someone who is willing to float between 1st & 2nd shiftswill take priority in our hiring decision. Most major repairs are contracted out to a vendor so this is a great position for someone with a mechanical mindset, but you don’t need to be an expert in any trade area.

Main responsibilities include: Performing minor maintenance tasks for room/cabin calls; perform preventative maintenance duties such as changing furnace filters along with room checks to replace switches, bulbs, etc.; perform minor repairs and test equipment ranging from HVAC & refrigeration units to kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile repair, painting and appliances in a safe and timely manner. Test and maintain pools and hot tubs. Assist guests, management and other departments with needs on a daily basis. Some important qualifications: Must be 18 or older, possess a clean criminal background and valid driver's license. Must be available weekends and holidays. General mechanical knowledge with proficiency of hand or power tools required. Physical Requirements: This is a very physical position that requires stamina to be able to stand and walk for long periods and at times long distances. Able to lift and carry items weighing anywhere from 20 - 60 lbs daily, ability to repeatedly and continuously bend, reach, lift, push, crouch, kneel, stoop and twist.
