Brookfield Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an Alder location in Northridge, California. The role covers HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and machinery maintenance within a multi-unit residential property.

You should have 1–2 years of relevant property experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and preferred HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing certifications. Valid driver’s license may be required, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Responsibilities

• HVAC repairs, cleaning and replacement of components.
• Plumbing repairs including sinks, toilets, faucets; parts replacement as needed.
• Carpentry tasks: doors, shelves, countertops, locks; painting and drywall repairs.
• Electrical work: lighting, wiring, power circuits, switches and lamps.
• Maintain mechanical systems such as chillers, belts, pumps, and fans; general maintenance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and teamwork in a residential property setting.

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, for all work-related responsibilities.
