Job summary

Regent at Burnsville, a Cassia community, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our vibrant senior living campus in Burnsville, MN. This full-time, on-site role runs Tuesday through Saturday, with on-call rotation every 3rd week. Wage range is $22–$26.27 per hour, depending on experience.

You’ll perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and respond to resident requests, helping keep our campus running smoothly for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and/or floor care preferred.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred, but not required.
• Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
• Follow scheduled preventative maintenance program.
• Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
• Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
• Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
• Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
• Perform lawn care and landscaping duties; remove snow and ice from walkways.
• Perform other duties as requested.

About this position

Regent at Burnsville, a Cassia community, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our vibrant senior living campus in Burnsville, MN. Prior maintenance experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train individuals with drive, reliability, and basic mechanical skills who are eager to learn and grow.

As a Maintenance Technician at Regent at Burnsville, you’ll stay active and engaged as you identify maintenance needs, complete hands‑on repairs, and help keep our campus running smoothly for residents and staff. This role allows you to make a direct impact on daily life while building meaningful connections with those who call our community home. If you bring solid mechanical abilities, strong problem‑solving skills, and a customer‑first mindset.

Position Type: This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Tuesday - Saturday and on call every 3rd week Monday-Monday.

Shift Available: Days 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Wage Range: $22 - $26.27 / hour depending on experience

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Prior experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and/or floor care preferred.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
• Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.
• Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
