Job summary

PCP Elevate seeks a Maintenance Technician for our Uplands community in Bozeman, MT. You will perform maintenance on MEP systems, conduct preventive tasks, and respond to after-hours calls. The role requires 1–2 years of residential maintenance experience and HVAC certification.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks across painting, caulking, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Repair MEP components such as HVAC, boilers, and chillers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure safe operation of MEP systems.
• Identify hazards related to life safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine safety inspections of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Support exterior grounds like snow removal and landscaping.
• Interact with tenants and facility personnel in writing and speech.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Maintenance:Performing regular maintenance tasks, such as painting, caulking, light carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, landscaping, and roof repairs
• Repairs: Making repairs to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, (MEP) such as HVAC systems, boilers, and chillers
• Preventive maintenance:Performing preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipmentto ensure the safe and efficient operation of all MEP systems.
• Attention to details: Identify all potential hazards in regard to life safety, functionality of equipment and cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the facility.
• Safety checks: Performing routine inspections of mechanical and electrical systems, fire and life safety installations, and the entire premises to avoid all injuries and potential property damage.
• Exterior grounds: Supporting exterior grounds activities, such as snow removal, landscaping, and parking lot maintenance
• Personal skills: Must be able to interact and communicate both verbally and written with the facility personnel and tenants.
• Additional duties as assigned by property management

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems. HVAC certification is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
