Nxt Property Management is seeking a property maintenance technician to join The Park Apartments in Bountiful. The right candidate should have 6 months to 2 years of apartment maintenance experience with the required skills listed above.

The role involves plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance repair, and grounds keeping, along with handling work orders and coordinating with the property manager. A strong customer service ethic and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance preferred (6 months to 2 years).
• Strong customer service skills and ability to manage difficult situations.
• Must read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Able to operate a computer and basic software.
• Willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance repairs as needed.
• Maintain grounds and keep the property clean.
• Provide professional and courteous communication with residents and vendors.
• Coordinate daily and weekly with the property manager to prioritize work orders and Turn schedule.
• Be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

MAINTENANCE TECH POSITION

Title: Maintenance Tech Department: Apartment Management Reports to: Apartment Mgmt. Supervisor Interfaces with: Apartment Residents

Pay Scale: From $20.00/hour to $22.00/hour; depends on experience and skill level.

Nxt Property Management is seeking a property maintenance technician to join The Park Apartments in Bountiful. Preferably the right candidate 6 months to 2 years experience in apartment maintenance with the following experience and skill set.

Required Skills

• Attention to detail, organizational, time-management and problem solving skills,
• Superior customer service skills; ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations,
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English,
• General Computer knowledge preferred,
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays.

Also, the Maintenance Technician must possess knowledge and skills in the following areas:

• Plumbing: repair, replace or install faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, water-dispensing refrigerators, and washing machines, etc.,
• Electrical: repair, replace or install power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, and climate control systems etc.
• Wall repair: Repair small and large drywall holes, texture walls to blend with existing walls, and paint etc.,
• Appliance repair: repair, replacement or installation of major household appliances, etc.,
• Grounds keeping: daily cleanup trash, dog poop (as necessary) on property.
• Customer service: professional, prompt and courteous correspondence with residents and vendors when scheduling and completing work orders
• Time management: coordinates daily and weekly with property manager to prioritize work order and "Turn" schedule.
• Alerts Property Manager of any potential liabilities or repairs,
• Willing to perform all tasks assigned by Manager.
