Job summary

Trinity Management, LLC in Mattapan, MA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to service a multifamily property, perform repairs, and keep residents comfortable.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance, respond to requests promptly, and prepare homes for new residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of residential, multifamily, or property maintenance experience.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• EPA Certification and HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, appliances repairs.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including inspections and turnovers.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Maintain common areas and exterior spaces.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues with quality workmanship.
• Participate in bi-weekly on-call rotation and respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs.
• Maintain accurate work orders, repairs, and materials records.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and local codes.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and team members.

This position plays a vital role in maintaining the property's appearance, functionality, and safety while delivering exceptional service to our residents. The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and experienced in apartment maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair work involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, appliances, and general building systems
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including inspections, repairs, and unit turnovers
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure building systems and equipment operate efficiently
• Assist with maintaining the property's common areas, grounds, and exterior spaces
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues while ensuring quality workmanship
• Participate in a bi-weekly on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• EPA Certification and HVAC experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

• $25.00 per hour based on experience
