Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Blytheville, AR for direct hire. Pay is $28.00–$37.00 per hour on the 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 3:00–11:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electrical issues on steel processing equipment and performing welding and fabrication as required. REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong mechanical troubleshooting, ability to read basic mechanical diagrams, and lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and read basic mechanical diagrams.
• Flexibility for schedule changes and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain motors, conveyors, bearings, belts, and gearboxes.
• Troubleshoot motors, controls, and sensors.
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
• Support production during equipment breakdowns.

Now hiring for a Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire
Location: Blytheville, AR
Pay Rate: $28.00 – $37.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2nd Shift 3:00–11:30 p.m. OT as available as needed

Help keep production moving through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on steel processing equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain motors, conveyors, bearings, belts, and gearboxes
• Troubleshoot motors, controls, and sensors
• Perform welding and fabrication as needed
• Support production during equipment breakdowns
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and improve equipment reliability

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience maintaining or repairing industrial equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools and read basic mechanical diagrams
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility for schedule changes and occasional travel

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, PLC-controlled equipment, schematics, slitters, cut-to-length lines, or material handling equipment is a plus. Five or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred!
