Job summary

The Maintenance Mechanic will join LewisGale Hospital Montgomery's engineering team, supporting the facility's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, Med Gas and HVAC systems while assisting in hospital repairs to TV systems when needed.

Key responsibilities include assembling, installing, repairing minor electrical and mechanical equipment, maintaining fixtures, and keeping nurse call systems and locks in working order to ensure safe, reliable patient care across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair minor electrical and mechanical equipment and work on small electrical projects.
• Repair furniture, beds and chairs, and repair/maintain plumbing fixtures.
• Replace faulty switches, cords, plugs, receptacles and light fixtures.
• Maintain hospital keys and locks.
• Maintain Nurse Call system and order stock to keep up inventory.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Maintenance Mechanic will join our engineering team which manages the physical environment from a mechanical, electrical (normal and emergency power), plumbing, Med Gas and HVAC systems and assists in hospital repairs to TV systems when needed.

• You will assemble, install, repair minor electrical and mechanical equipment and perform work on small electrical projects
• Repair furniture, beds and chairs, and repair/maintain plumbing fixtures
• You will replace faulty switches, cords, plugs, receptacles and light fixtures
• Maintain hospital keys and locks
• Maintain Nurse Call system and order stock to keep up inventory

What qualifications you will need:

• (DL) Driver License
• High School Graduate / GED
• 1 year minimum experience
