The Maintenance Technician inspects, tests, maintains, installs, repairs, and modifies systems, equipment, and structures within the hospital.
Requires standing for up to 8 hours, walking up to 4 hours, sitting for extended periods, lifting up to 60 lbs., pushing up to 300 lbs., and performing bending, crouching, reaching, twisting, climbing, and manual repairs. Normal vision and hearing are required.
High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required.
At least three years of experience in trades such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or electronics preferred. Technical school certification may substitute for up to 18 months of experience. Valid state-issued motor vehicle license is required.
