Job summary

Piramal Critical Care, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery and utilities while ensuring GMP compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 5+ years of technician experience, a mechanical and electrical background, and the ability to read blueprints; CMMS systems and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technician role.
  • Mechanical and electrical background required.
  • Apprenticeship program or technical school training preferred.
  • Ability to read standard blueprints, machine drawings and process drawings.
  • Experience with maintenance processes including work order systems, planning, scheduling, and storeroom processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery and utilities equipment.
  • Follow GMP and OSHA health and safety guidelines and company policies.
  • Inspect, test, and calibrate equipment; perform repairs as needed.
  • Disassemble pumps, valves, and process equipment; replace components.
  • Read engineering drawings and layout equipment accordingly.
  • Assist packaging equipment conversions and maintenance tasks.
  • Operate tools and rigging equipment to fabricate or repair plant components.
