Bernalillo Public Schools is seeking a maintenance professional to perform general and skilled maintenance duties across district facilities. The role involves planning work in plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, assisting fellow maintenance staff, and maintaining and using district computer systems.

The candidate must be able to perform physical labor, adhere to safety practices, hold a valid driver’s license, and pass a background check.

• Must be able to perform physical labor including lifting, pulling, pushing, and ladder work.
• Adhere to safety standards and safe practices at all times.
• Must retain a valid driver's license.
• Background check required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs maintenance duties to support district facilities and operations.
• Plans and conducts work across plumbing, HVAC, carpentry.
• Assists other maintenance technicians as needed.
• Requires computer literacy to use district systems.

Summary/Qualifications/Responsibilities:

• Under general supervision performs maintenance duties in support of maintaining District Facilities and operations.
• Plans and conducts work activities in support of multiple disciplines associated with general maintenance and skilled maintenance activities (plumbing, HVAC, carpentry).
• Assists other maintenance techs as required.
• Must be computer literate and capable of working with systems and processes utilized by the District.

Requirements/Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be able to perform physical labor to include lifting, pulling, pushing and working off ladders, use of hand an small power tools, maintain work schedules in the performance of maintaining the Districts facilities.
• Must adhere to safety standards and safe practices at all times.
• Must retain a valid driver’s license.
• Required to pass a background check.
