Job summary

Marquette Management is seeking a maintenance technician in Bensenville, IL to maintain a clean, well-kept living environment for residents. Responsibilities include repairs to apartments and common areas, vacant unit preparation, and grounds upkeep.

On-call rotation with weekend work is possible; a $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Starting wage ranges from $22 to $25 per hour based on experience, with 401K matching, medical/dental/vision, PTO,

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Outstanding customer service and teamwork required.
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
• HVAC certified and plumbing/appliance/electrical skills are a plus.
• Willingness to on-call and work weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of apartments and common areas, including repairs and cleaning.
• Prepare vacant apartments and handle snow/trash removal.
• Perform emergency repairs and basic landscaping tasks.
• Order maintenance equipment, manage deliveries, and keep records.
• Move appliances and support on-site operations as needed.

Marquette Management Inc., www.marquettemanagement.com is looking for a maintenance technician in Bensenville, IL. The maintenance position plays a key role in effectively accomplishing the goal of providing residents with a clean, well maintained living environment. To accomplish this goal, the responsibilities of the maintenance department include, but are not limited to, general repairs to the apartments and common areas of the buildings and grounds, vacant apartment preparation, snow and trash removal, emergency repairs, cleaning, landscaping, ordering maintenance equipment and supplies, record keeping, accepting deliveries, moving appliances and other job related duties.

• HVAC, EPA, CPO Universal Certification is a plus! Availability for on-call purposes and the flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary is also a plus!
