Thoroughbred Express Auto Wash in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Maintenance Tech to modify, repair, and improve existing equipment and help develop new machinery. The role focuses on keeping the site’s systems reliable and safe for daily operations.
You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, install wiring and components, and supervise or assist with site installations. Some travel may be required to support multiple locations.
The Maintenance Tech will modify, repair, and improve existing products, and equipment, and will assist in developing new or updated machinery, components, or products. The incumbent will assist with maintenance repairs and installations as necessary.
Training and development of Site Managers to ensure that they can maintain 75% of their sites with
preventative maintenance measures.
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches,
hydraulic, electrical, and electronic testing devices.
Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance as per the schedule to ensure that machines continue.

Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

equipment.

Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery during maintenance or repair.

Assist with acquisition / new site installations. Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs.
Performs safety checks to ensure design plans are feasible in various conditions.
Reports potentially dangerous electrical equipment to the supervisor and takes steps to resolve the issue.
Instructs employees regarding safe working procedures and requirements when working with electronic equipment and components.
Develops and maintains records related to electronic and electrical equipment, and reports project status to management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
