Job summary

ITW ECS is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Bartlett, IL to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on extrusion molding machinery, replace faulty components, and assist with new equipment installation while following safety protocols and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of process controls, industrial electrical wiring and 3 phase systems up to 480 Volts.
• Knowledge of A/C and D/C motors and controls.
• Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and CMMS systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• The ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
• The ability to work when needed, including occasional weekends or overtime to support production.

Compensation Information:

$34-$36 per hour
