Job summary

Scientific Search in Auburn, ME is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot complex equipment, improve reliability, and keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.

You will work with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, repair motors, PLCs, VFDs and controls, perform preventive maintenance and equipment installations, fabricate replacement parts, maintain OSHA-compliant facilities, and support operators with improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and single/three-phase motors.
• Skilled with blueprints, testing equipment, and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and independent work ethic.
