A leading company in facilities management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the operation of mechanical and electrical systems. This role involves performing repairs and preventive maintenance on various facility systems, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, a high school diploma, and effective communication abilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
plumbing (vacuum breakers, sloan valves, faucets, etc.), lighting (bulbs/ballasts, fixture replacement/upfit), HVAC (PM's - filters, grease bearings, clean coils, change belts- CFC license would be preferred but not required), carpentry/patch/paint, door hardware, etc.
The ideal candidate would have some experience with workorder and building management systems.
Commercial maintenance experience is preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CFC license is preferred, but not required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Employee must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and have the ability to communicate effectively with customers, other employees, and the manager.
A valid driver’s license is required.
