Marquette Management Inc. in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep apartments and common areas well maintained. Responsibilities include repairs, vacancy turns, snow and trash removal, and on-call duties.

Strong customer service and basic computer skills are required; HVAC certification is a plus. Starting wage ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, with a sign-on bonus of $1,000.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in apartments or hotels.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Apartment turns experience a plus.
• On-call availability and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs in apartments and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Handle snow removal, trash removal, and cleaning.
• Conduct emergency repairs and routine maintenance.
• Order maintenance supplies and keep records.
• Accept deliveries and relocate appliances as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Marquette Management Inc., www.marquettemanagement.com i is looking for a maintenance technician in Arlington Heights, IL. The maintenance position plays a key role in effectively accomplishing the goal of providing residents with a clean, well maintained living environment. To accomplish this goal, the responsibilities of the maintenance department include, but are not limited to, general repairs to the apartments and common areas of the buildings and grounds, vacant apartment preparation, snow and trash removal, emergency repairs, cleaning, landscaping, ordering maintenance equipment and supplies, record keeping, accepting deliveries, moving appliances and other job related duties.

The Maintenance Technician must have previous maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment or hotel industry, as well as excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge. Candidate should have experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and apartment turns.

Starting wage $22.00-$25.00 HR/based on experience

• HVAC or EPA Universal Certification is a plus! Availability for on-call purposes and the flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary is also a plus!
