Job summary

A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor and repair production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and electrical experience, along with the ability to conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot PLC systems. This role requires an independent worker willing to take on a 3rd shift position with overtime on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Electrical experience is required.
• Ability to operate forklifts and man lifts is needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machines for mechanical problems and perform repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Provide training to production staff on equipment operation.

• Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic/pneumatic systems and scheduled maintenance duties

• Follow all safety policies and procedures including lockout/tagout
• Maintain the safe and efficient operation/repair production equipment

• Ability to understand and adjust machine and set-up parameters
• Recognize product defects and adjust equipment and settings to correct problems

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

$28-$35/hr depending on experience

Hiring for 3rd shift, OT on Saturdays

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Electrical experience required
• PLC troubleshooting preferred
• Must have own tools for the position
• Ability to work overtime including weekends as needed
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to work in a maintenance team environment
• Proven ability to perform in a manufacturing environment, high volume high speed manufacturing experience preferred
• Mechanical Press and/or Thermoforming experience a plus
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and/or blue prints required
• Ability to operate forklifts and man lifts
