Job summary

Arclin is hiring a Maintenance Technician at our Andalusia, AL plant. This role maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs plant machinery to ensure uptime and safety, reporting to the Plant Engineer.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read wiring diagrams, and support safety and process reliability initiatives. Ideal candidates bring a trade school or technical college background, HS diploma, and 5 years of maintenance experience, including electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Trade School or Technical College Graduate; HS diploma required.
• Five (5) years industry experience handling both reactive & preventative maintenance.
• Experience in Process Safety Management systems including methanol, formaldehyde, and anhydrous ammonia.
• Industrial electrical – 110V up to 460V.
• ABB drives; PLC systems; Running conduit; Proper terminations.
• Utilizing testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical components and systems.
• Automated systems and components; Metering and controlling devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance checks on all plant equipment per intervals established by Arclin procedures.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and other documents to determine wiring configurations or troubleshoot problems.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with Arclin safety guidelines and permits.
• Work with Maintenance team to improve safety and plant reliability.
• Identify environmental impacts of maintenance operations and suggest corrective action.
• Advise supervisor on spare parts usage to maintain inventory.

Maintenance Technician, Andalusia, AL

Arclin USAis seeking talent for aMaintenance Technician Jobopen with ourAndalusia Plant.Reporting into thePlant Engineer,this role is responsible for the repair and ongoing maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment. This includes performing regular inspections to ensure that the machinery and equipment is operating to design specifications and that down time is minimal so plant production schedules are not adversely impacted. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment and controls.

Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Perform Preventative Maintenance checks on all plant equipment per intervals established by Arclin procedures and guidelines.


• Reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and other documents to determine wiring configurations or troubleshooting problems with equipment.

Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with guidelines and safety rules set forth in the Arclin Special Work Permit, Confined Space permit, Arclin Operational Procedures, and PSM with special emphasis on Management of Change

Work with fellow Maintenance employees in a team-like manner with the mindset of safety and plant improvements.

Identify any environmental impacts of maintenance operations and suggest corrective action

Advise Maintenance Supervisor and/or Plant Engineer of spare parts usage so that adequate spare parts inventories can be monitored and maintained

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:

Trade School or Technical College Graduate;HS diploma required
