Job Description

Crest Coating Inc. is seeking a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for driven professional to assist in the repairs and maintenance of equipment. This person will work on projects under direct guidance from the Maintenance Technician lead and/or a Department Manager. Crest Coating Inc. is a nationally recognized premier coating expert with a proud 50-year history. As a total solution coating applicator, we offer a complete line of powder and liquid coating options for metal, wood, and plastic products, for any size production runs. We continually keep pace with the latest technologies and have designed coating systems for fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to operations
• Responsible for facilities maintenance and repair
• Designs and fabricates tooling and enhancements to improve operation of equipment
• Inspects equipment and performs preventative maintenance and repairs
• May purchase maintenance supplies
• Immediately reports to his supervisor any malfunctions and / or broken equipment that are beyond his own capabilities and arranges for appropriate outside contractors to make the necessary repairs
• Ensures the proper use, care and storage of tools and equipment
• Maintains records / reports related to the maintenance performed on equipment, as well as future preventative maintenance to be conducted on the equipment
• Follows all written procedures and company policies
• Takes an active role in advancing the company’s mission and core values
• Ensures that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Education & Qualifications

• High school or equivalent
• 3 years related experience
• Industrial Electrical knowledge
• Arc, Mig and gas welding capability
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the position
• Plumbing ability
• General Carpentry
• Forklift Certificate
• Excellent interpersonal, communication
• Ability and means to travel on a flexible schedule as needed
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
