Job summary

Air Products in Allentown, PA seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the Facility Services Team. The role focuses on mechanical troubleshooting, routine maintenance of building systems, and minor repairs to keep facilities running smoothly.

Candidates should have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, ability to read schematics, and experience with shop tools. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, operate a forklift, and access roofs with ladders and lifts. Monday–Friday occurrence applies.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience required or equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints and building drawings.
• Experience with hand/power tools and shop equipment.
• Maintain Safety Work Permit certifications when required.
• Comfortable with roof access, ladders and lifts.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs and operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Completes Preventative Maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs to building equipment (pumps, HVAC components, electrical equipment, fixtures).
• Performs general building maintenance tasks (install/repair bulletin boards, office furniture, ceiling tiles, carpet tiles, signage, locks).
• Performs routine inspections and light painting; assembles equipment as needed.
• Repairs or modifies office and room configurations (mod walls, workstations, doors).
• Completes personnel moves and room set ups; supports EMTs when assigned.
• Maintains certification to issue Safety Work Permits; performs basic EMT duties when qualified.
• Supports facilities in other tasks such as equipment moves and installations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
