Job description

Oversee performance and maintenance of equipment and machinery across all facilities, ensuring operational reliability and safety. Execute general maintenance duties and manage preventive maintenance plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
• Implement, install, maintain and repair machinery and simple electrical systems
• Document and maintain preventive maintenance plans and processes
• Interface with manufacturers and service departments to purchase parts
• Perform precise mechanical adjustments and dismantle devices
• Rebuild mechanical parts and equipment
• Interface with personnel regarding mechanical problems
• Detect and report unusual conditions or defective equipment
• Evaluate and recommend machine improvements
• Maintain work logs, work orders, and corrective action records
• Follow all safety protocols and act as primary contact for Lock Out Tag Out
• Perform other duties as needed and assigned

Qualifications:

• 5+ years mechanical experience maintaining industrial equipment
• 2+ years experience operating powered industrial machinery (forklift, scissor lift, etc)
• Availability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Adherence to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures independently
• Ability to read and understand technical equipment manuals and schematics
• Excellent communication skills to interface at all levels
• Basic computer skills to use Word, Excel and the Internet
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, push, pull, move, and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of AC/DC drives
• Basic fabrication skills
