In this position, you will perform maintenance and repair of devices according to specified instructions. The ability to understand and execute work orders, PM for preventative maintenance activities as well as identify issues and repair accordingly or write work orders to have issues remedied at the earliest convenience are all important in this position. Being able to make repairs correctly the 1st time and avoid repeat issues, recognize cleaning as a normal important part of all maintenance functions, and recognize communication is pivotal to the department’s success.
Physical Demands:
Working environment and physical requirements of this position are those typical of a manufacturing environment. Job requires very frequent visual effort and concentration, and the ability to move throughout the plant, including second story areas. Must be able to identify colors for purposes of executing machine and equipment repairs. The ability to lift 40 pounds is required.
