Day-to-Day

An industrial automation company is seeking a Maintenance Technician with an immediate start date to assist with a startup project in Olathe, Kansas. We can start as soon as tomorrow afternoon.

Daily responsibilities include walking the facility floor, observing package flow through automated sortation equipment, assisting operators with equipment functionality, identifying operational bottlenecks, resetting systems after faults, and helping resolve issues such as improperly seated packages that can trigger system alarms. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment and has previous experience supporting automated conveyor or sortation systems.

Must-Haves

• Comfortable working a 14 day assignment 2nd or 3rd shift
• 1+ years of mechanical equipment maintenance, field service, industrial dismantling, or machine repair experience
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to pass background screening and comply with site safety requirements

Plusses

• Experience with mail processing equipment, conveyor systems, or automated package handling systems
• Previous asset recovery, equipment relocation, decommissioning, or salvage project experience
• Knowledge of electrical controls, motors, sensors, drives, PLC components, or automation equipment
• Experience creating inventory reports and tracking recovered assets
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or other industrial safety certifications
