Job summary
Federal Express Corporation is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Charlotte, NC facility. This on-site role requires six years of experience, with four years in FedEx Industrial Maintenance or comparable material-handling systems, and strong expertise in mechanical power transmission, electrical and PLC/controls, plus welding/fabrication.

Qualifications

- Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trade or related area and an associate degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed procedures as directed by work orders or management.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical problems using engineering knowledge.
- Read, interpret, and create electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Troubleshoot and install PLC/controls systems and various components.
- Utilize EAM software to enter and retrieve data.
- Collaborate with departments, operations, vendors, and support teams on failures or projects.
- Maintain time management and organization in daily tasks.
