Job summary

LGH is hiring for a mechanically inclined technician to maintain rental equipment used in hoisting and rigging applications. The role ensures equipment is ready for safe use and meets quality standards, with hands-on maintenance and testing.

The position involves disassembly/repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic gear, routine preventative maintenance, forklift operation, and driving company vehicles for deliveries. Training and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical background or aptitude strongly preferred.
• Hand and power tool experience desired.
• Experience with rigging equipment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental equipment orders and perform inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble and test electrical, hand operated, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on rental equipment.
• Operate forklift to load/unload delivery vehicles and move equipment within the warehouse.
• Transport rental orders using company vehicles when needed.
