Job summary

Residential Niche is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Pueblo, CO to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will troubleshoot issues, prioritize urgent repairs, and complete assigned maintenance tasks to keep property systems running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance technician experience.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Own or have access to basic tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and determine repair actions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance (e.g., change filters, detectors, bulbs).
• Respond to maintenance requests, sometimes on-call and after hours.
• Snow removal as needed.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively.
• Maintain safety and clean, organized work area.
• Handle other maintenance tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the best course of action for repairs
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and ensure equipment is functioning optimally. This includes preventative maintenance such as: changing air filters / batteries in smoke detectors / change light bulbs, etc.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests(On-Call)and prioritize tasks based on urgency, including occasional after-hours emergencies which can occur outside of business hours
• Snow removal as needed
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects
• Take pride in your work and demonstrate a strong problem-solving mindset
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Any and all other maintenance tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 1+ years of previous experience as a Maintenance Technician
• Strong decision-making skills and a positive approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Access to or ownership of basic tools required for maintenance work
• Valid and non-expired driver's license, insurance, along with reliable transportation
• Lift up to 60lbs when necessary to perform maintenance tasks
