Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. in Indiana seeks a maintenance technician to perform emergency and preventive maintenance on production equipment, working independently with limited supervision.

You will repair, service, and upgrade machinery to keep lines running and meet safety standards. Requirements include High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of related experience; vocational training and 7+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and machine control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projects
• Safely accomplish assigned tasks
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategies
• Comply with safety regulations
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Other duties as assigned
